The Texarkana Texas Police Department has released more information on the altercation that led to the shooting death of Ulises Martinez, 17. Brothers Kamorion and Kieran Meachem are charged with the homicide that happened yesterday afternoon on Sidney Drive. Both are being held on one million dollar bonds.

We arrested bothers Kamorion and Kieran Meachem in the homicide that happened yesterday afternoon on Sidney Drive. The victim has been identified as 17 year old Ulises Martinez.
Detectives have been able to determine that there was some type of altercation between Kamorion and Ulises at Texas High School earlier in the day. After they were both suspended, they continued to communicate with each other and eventually met on Sidney Drive to fight a little before 2:00 yesterday. At some point during that street fight (which also involved several other teenagers), Martinez was shot once in the chest and died at the scene.
Several people, including Kamorian and Kieran Meachem, were transported from the scene and interviewed by detectives at the police department. The two brothers were later arrested and booked into the Bi-State Jail. Bond has been set at $1 million for both of them.
