    Murder Suspect in Custody of Texarkana Arkansas Police Department

    The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department reports that Trenkale Brunson, 29, has been arrested and charged with Murder in the 1st Degree, Possession of a Firearm by Certain Persons, and Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm from a Vehicle.

    Press Release:

    On Monday, June 20, 2022, around 8:30 pm, The Texarkana Arkansas Patrol Division
    arrested Trenkale Brunson, 29 years of age of Texarkana, Arkansas, on an outstanding warrant
    for three felony charges. The charges are Murder in the 1st Degree, Possession of a Firearm
    by Certain Persons, and Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm from a Vehicle. The warrant
    stemmed from a shooting in the 300 block of Martin Luther King Blvd. earlier on Monday,
    June 20, 2022; the result of the shooting claimed the life of a thirty-seven-year-old male from
    Texarkana, Arkansas. Mr. Brunson is the alleged suspect in the case.

    Mr. Brunson was booked into the Miller County Jail, awaiting court procedures.
