The Texarkana Texas Police Department along with multiple other law enforcement agencies are currently searching for two escapees from the Bi-State Jail in downtown Texarkana.

Today at approximately 3:05am, two inmates escaped from the Bi-State Jail. Their escape was discovered during a jail count this morning. A review of surveillance footage confirmed that Wayde Burton Land and JC Lee Kirby left the Bi State Building on foot travelling west towards Texas Boulevard. Both inmates were wearing street clothes when they escaped the facility.
