Texarkana, Texas – Christopher Daniel, 25, and Robert Culpepper, 23, face charges following the tragic incident on December 18th that claimed the life of Linda Reed, 66.

In a significant development related to the fatal crash that occurred on December 18th at the intersection of N. Stateline Ave and Hazel St, authorities have announced the arrest of two individuals involved. Christopher Daniel, 25, and Robert Culpepper, 23, have been taken into custody and charged with Racing on the Highway Involving Death.

The incident claimed the life of Linda Reed, 66, who was struck by a vehicle as she attempted to cross North Stateline Avenue from East 9th Street to Hazel Street around 7:20 PM that fateful night.

Both Daniel and Culpepper were driving southbound on Stateline at an extremely high rate of speed, as indicated by the evidence gathered during the investigation. The reckless racing led to the collision resulting in the tragic loss of Linda Reed’s life.

Following their arrest, both Daniel and Culpepper have been booked into the Bi-State Jail. Authorities have set their bonds at $1,000,000 each. The charges of Racing on the Highway Involving Death carry serious consequences, reflecting the severity of the incident.

After more than 40 years with commercial broadcasting, I decided to do my own thing by blogging, and taking "unconsultant" gigs. It affords me the ability to stay super involved in the community, but still, have plenty of time with my 3 granddaughters and other projects.
