The RKS Tournaments organization is thrilled to announce the 1st Annual RKS Ark-La-Tex MVP Challenge, an exciting new event for amateur softball teams, scheduled for July 27, 2024. Event Highlights
The tournament features a three-game guarantee format with two pool games leading into a single elimination round. Teams will have the chance to compete in various divisions and will be matched against some of the best amateur softball clubs in the nation.
- MVP Competition: Special awards for Home Run Leader, Fastest Baserunner, and Around the Horn, with unique prizes for the winners.
- Championship Rings: First-place teams will receive championship rings, while second-place teams will be awarded finalist rings.

Gate Fees and Additional Information
- Gate Fee: $10 per person (children 12 and under are free). Coaches and players get in for free.
- No outside food or drinks are allowed, except for one team cooler.
- No pets are permitted, with the exception of registered service animals.
Tournament Rules
- Game Time Limits: 8U games are 60 minutes, while 10U-18U games are 75 minutes.
- Run Rules: 12 after 3 innings, 10 after 4 innings, and 8 after 5 innings.
- Behavior Policy: The tournament has a zero-tolerance policy towards disrespectful behavior. Violators will be ejected from the event.
Refund Policy
Refunds will only be issued under specific conditions, such as complete event cancellation due to weather. Teams withdrawing after the schedule release will not receive refunds, but they can transfer to another RKS tournament.
Safety and Compliance
All teams must provide proof of insurance, and all coaches must undergo background checks. Players must be listed on the team roster by July 26 at 11:59 PM to be eligible to play.
