The Salvation Army Texarkana Women’s Auxiliary is bringing back its beloved Stone Soup Luncheon, set to take place on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at 400 E. 6th Street in Texarkana, Arkansas.

This year, the annual fundraiser has moved to February, giving the community an earlier opportunity to support a great cause. Attendees can enjoy a warm, hearty meal while making a direct impact on the lives of underprivileged children in Texarkana.

Proceeds from the event will go toward year-round programs benefiting children at the Center of Hope Shelter and the Red Shield Youth Center, both of which provide essential services, mentorship, and activities for local youth in need.

The luncheon will offer both dine-in and carry-out options, making it easy for supporters to participate.

For more information, call the Salvation Army Texarkana at 870-774-2701.

Don’t miss this opportunity to enjoy a delicious meal while giving back to the community!

After more than 40 years with commercial broadcasting, I decided to do my own thing by blogging, and taking "unconsultant" gigs. It affords me the ability to stay super involved in the community, but still, have plenty of time with my 3 granddaughters and other projects.
