Get ready to run, walk, and get splashed with color—all for a great cause! The 11th Annual CASA & TCAC Colorful 5K is set for Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Spring Lake Park, bringing the community together in a vibrant display of support for local children in need.
Benefitting CASA for Children and the Texarkana Children’s Advocacy Center, this 3.1-mile fun run/walk helps provide critical services to more than 1,300 abused and neglected children each year. Participants will take in the scenic 145-acre park, weaving around the spring-fed lake while being showered with brightly colored, eco-friendly powder, turning plain white shirts into dazzling works of art.
The event kicks off with onsite registration at 8:00 a.m., followed by the kids’ race at 8:30 a.m. and the adult race at 9:00 a.m. To guarantee a t-shirt and color bag, be sure to register by April 4.
The Colorful 5K begins with a spectacular color toss, where each participant releases a bag of powder into the air, creating a breathtaking burst of color. Throughout the race, color stations will keep the fun going, ensuring runners and walkers cross the finish line covered in a rainbow of support.
For over 30 years, CASA and the TCAC have been committed to providing hope, healing, and justice to vulnerable children in the Greater Texarkana area. Now, they invite the community to join them in making a difference—one colorful step at a time.
