The sound of music and the spirit of collaboration will fill the halls of Texas Middle School this summer as the 4-States Band Camp returns June 11 through 14, offering a full week of learning, laughter, and musical growth for young musicians from across the region.
The day camp runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day and gives students from various schools, grade levels, and backgrounds the chance to come together and refine their musical talents. Over four packed days, campers will enjoy sectionals, full band rehearsals, elective classes like Jazz Band, Color Guard, Music Theory, and Drum Major/Leadership — plus plenty of fun with snow cone breaks, buttons, Coke Grams, great food, and a Friday night dance.
“We want these kids to not only grow in their music, but to have fun doing it,” said camp organizers. “It’s about friendship, teamwork, and giving them a chance to explore music beyond the classroom.”
The week wraps up with a public concert on Saturday afternoon at the Sullivan Performing Arts Center, where students will showcase what they’ve learned.
Whether your child is just starting out or already a seasoned player, 4-States Band Camp offers a one-of-a-kind summer experience that hits all the right notes.
