A wild high-speed chase through Texarkana, Arkansas, was caught live on national television this past April — and the dramatic footage is now going viral. The pursuit, which was featured on On Patrol: Live on Reelz+, shows Arkansas State Police officers chasing down a speeding Suzuki motorcycle in what started as a routine traffic stop but quickly escalated into a dangerous, multi-mile pursuit.
According to the official arrest report, the incident began on April 27, 2025, around 4:33 p.m. when an Arkansas State Trooper heard a motorcycle accelerating aggressively along North State Line Avenue. The officer spotted a blue and white Suzuki 600CC motorcycle driven by 27-year-old Kailop Rhinehart, who was not wearing the protective eyewear required by Arkansas law.
When the trooper attempted to initiate a traffic stop, Rhinehart instead accelerated away, reaching speeds of over 110 miles per hour while weaving through traffic on St. Michael Drive. The chase continued onto Interstate 30 westbound, with Rhinehart pushing his motorcycle to nearly 120 miles per hour while maneuvering dangerously around vehicles.
After approximately 10 miles, the pursuit took an unpredictable turn as Rhinehart veered off the interstate and into an open field. The pursuing officer used his patrol vehicle’s push bumper to make contact with the motorcycle’s rear tire. On the third attempt — at roughly 15 miles per hour — Rhinehart lost control, laying the bike down and fleeing on foot into nearby woods.
The officer chased Rhinehart through dense brush for about 150 feet before deploying a Taser, successfully bringing the suspect to the ground. After taking Rhinehart into custody, officers noted the smell of intoxicants and provided him with medical care on scene. Rhinehart admitted to officers that he had consumed a Four Loko earlier in the day and confessed to fleeing simply “for the fun of it.” He also revealed that he had evaded capture at the same location during a previous incident in November.
Further investigation revealed that Rhinehart was driving on a suspended license, had no insurance, and was on parole for possession of firearms by certain persons.
He was transported to Christus St. Michael’s Hospital for evaluation, where a blood sample was obtained for testing by the Arkansas State Crime Lab.
