The Texarkana Texas Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a woman involved in an unusual assault incident at a local fast-food restaurant last week.
According to police, the incident occurred at the McDonald’s on Richmond Road, where a woman — notably wearing a shirt that read “Fresh sarcasm served daily” — got into a verbal altercation with an employee inside the restaurant. After the initial argument, the woman and a friend left the premises.
However, just a few minutes later, the woman returned on foot to the drive-thru window, requesting additional sauces. When a different employee handed them over, the suspect allegedly slapped the employee before walking away.
In a lighthearted post addressing the incident, the department noted, “Guess nothing says ‘I’m calm and collected’ like slapping someone over some tangy barbeque packets.”
Authorities are now seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Detective Tabitha Smith at 903-798-3142.
The investigation is ongoing.
