It’s ‘MelonPalooza 2025’ up I-30 this weekend with Hope Arkansas Watermelon Festival. I met some young folks this week that thought that a Watermelon is a vegetable… it is a FRUIT. So, is a pumpkin. Lots going on with the festival this weekend, get more information here. Saturday night features “The Voices of Rock Tour” with Tommy DeCarlo, former lead singer of the band Boston, and Jason Scheff, longtime lead singer of the band Chicago teaming up for a night of unforgettable classic rock music spanning the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. The Texarkana Texas Farmer’s Market has called the season, but will be open for some events closer to Fall. Still get fresh produce and more at Gateway Farmer’s Market in Texarkana Arkansas for a little while longer.
