Get ready to do the Time Warp again! The Historic Perot Theatre in downtown Texarkana will host a special 50th Anniversary screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show on Friday, October 31, at 8:00 p.m.
The cult classic film, starring Tim Curry, Susan Sarandon, Barry Bostwick, Richard O’Brien, and Meat Loaf, follows sweethearts Brad and Janet as a flat tire on a stormy night leads them to the bizarre mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter — a self-proclaimed “sweet transvestite from Transsexual, Transylvania.” What follows is a wild mix of music, mayhem, and midnight movie magic that has thrilled audiences for five decades.
Fans are encouraged to dress up and join in the fun, but the Perot Theatre reminds guests that no outside props are allowed.
Instead, the event offers a “Virgin Package,” which includes admission and an official prop kit, ensuring everyone can participate safely in the interactive experience that has made Rocky Horror a Halloween favorite.
Halloween Nightmare in the Twin Cities — Bar Crawl Add-On
