Hypecon is bringing the excitement to Texarkana with the Hype Trade Card Show on January 17th at VFW Post 4562 on Highway 82 in Texarkana, Arkansas. From noon to 8 p.m., card collectors and gamers can dive into sports cards, trading cards, TCGs, and collectibles for just $10 entry. The family-friendly event is sponsored by CardWizards Collectibles & More, who will be hosting a Magic: The Gathering Commander Tournament, plus a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Tournament for gamers ready to compete. Whether you’re buying, trading, or battling, this highly requested event is one you don’t want to miss.
We Are Washington will host the Texarkana Hoop Shoot at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 18, at 1900 Marietta Street in Texarkana, Arkansas. This free youth basketball shooting competition is part of the national Elks Hoop Shoot program and focuses on sportsmanship, confidence, and fun for boys and girls ages 8 to 13. Participants will compete in their age division by shooting 10 free throws, with top shooters earning awards and the chance to advance to state and even national competition. Families and friends are encouraged to come out and cheer on our young athletes.
