Texarkana Arkansas Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the EZ Mart located at 3401 E. 9th Street.
According to the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department, officers were dispatched to the convenience store following reports of a confrontation between a suspect and a FedEx delivery driver.
Upon arrival, officers learned the suspect allegedly became involved in an altercation with the driver and stabbed the victim. Police say the suspect then dropped the knife and fled the scene on foot.
During the investigation, detectives determined the suspect was accompanied by Zoe Jackson, a defense attorney based in Little Rock. Authorities allege Jackson removed the knife from the scene and concealed it inside her vehicle.
Jackson was arrested and charged with Felony Tampering with Physical Evidence. She was transported to the Miller County Jail.
The FedEx driver was taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries sustained during the assault. Officials say the victim is currently receiving medical care.
The stabbing suspect remains at large. He is described as a slender Black male in his early 20s.
