The Official Boggy Creek Monster Festival is back this weekend at Dancing Ranch Farm, kicking off Friday from 10am–10pm and continuing Saturday from 10am–5pm, all for just a $5 entry fee. Expect a full day of family fun with vendors, bounce houses, games, scavenger hunts led by local Boy Scouts, live music, a petting zoo, hayrides, and even photos with the Boggy Creek Monster himself. Friday night features an outdoor showing of the new movie “BogMan” along with bonfire storytelling, and the weekend wraps up Sunday morning at 9am with a special service for safe travels home. It’s a unique, local, family-friendly experience with a little mystery mixed in.
Country music legend Randy Travis brings his More Life Tour to the Perot Theatre this Saturday night at 7:30pm for a special evening celebrating his iconic career. Featuring James Dupré and Randy’s original touring band, fans will hear all the classic hits like “Forever and Ever, Amen” and “Three Wooden Crosses,” with Randy himself making a heartfelt appearance during the show. While he won’t be performing vocally, his presence makes this a once-in-a-lifetime experience for longtime fans. Tickets start at $39, with VIP meet-and-greet options available.
