Downtown Texarkana is getting ready for a big night of live music as Mark Chesnutt headlines the 9th Annual Destination Downtown, hosted by LNK TXK and presented by Robbins Toyota.
The event is set for Saturday, October 24, 2026, with festivities getting underway at 4 p.m. and live music and entertainment continuing throughout the evening across the Downtown Entertainment District.
This year’s Destination Downtown is expanding to include more than 10 stops and 10 live bands, giving attendees plenty of opportunities to enjoy music, food, drinks and the atmosphere of downtown before Chesnutt takes the stage at Front Street Festival Plaza.
Chesnutt, a Texas-born country music veteran, has built a career around traditional country hits and has amassed 14 No. 1 hits, 23 Top 10 singles and more than 12 million albums sold, according to event organizers.
Fans can expect to hear some of Chesnutt’s best-known songs, including “Too Cold at Home,” “Bubba Shot the Jukebox” and “Brother Jukebox,” when he takes the stage.
Organizers say this year’s event will bring the Downtown Entertainment District to life with live music at multiple locations, along with food, drinks and entertainment throughout the evening.
Destination Downtown 2026 is a 21-and-over event, and tickets are currently on sale.
