She is a wife, a mother, a BBQ expert, and a NINJA WARRIOR! New Boston Texas resident Joy Strickland has competed in the American Ninja Warrior competition solo, and most recently she was part of Karsten’s Fast Kats team in season 2 of Team Ninja Warrior.
Joy works at Randy’s Smokehouse BBQ in New Boston and works out at Anytime Fitness New Boston, but travels to Obstacle Warriors Dallas for her Ninja Course Training. That is where she met Kasten’s Fast Kats team captain, Karsten Williams and teammate Kevin Klein.
Strickland’s team battled through preliminary heats and had a chance to make the finals as a wildcard when they were eliminated from the Season 2 competition. Karsten’s Fast Cats have every intention of being back for season 3, and to win the title.
