The Texarkana Arkansas Education Foundation gave $7000.00 in grants to teachers and staff at various campuses in the Texarkana Arkansas School District for the 2016-2017 school year.
They include : Kelly Torrans, Trice Elementary, “Trice Rocks Through the Ages” and “MacDance”, Skye Metcalf-Do, Trice Elementary, “Terrific Trice Twirlers”, Julie Carver, College Hill Middle School, “First Lego League”, John Wilson, Arkansas High, North Heights Junior High and College Hill Middle School,
“TASD Trap Team Range Permanent Power” and ShotKam for Trap Team”, Kayla Henderson, Arkansas High School, “Never Miss a Shot for Journalism.”
Since it’s founding by Mark Wilson in 2005, the Foundation has rewarded more than $489,000.00 in grants to TASD teachers and staff to enhance student learning.
