Texarkana Texas Police have arrested and charged Elexis Davis, 18, of Texarkana Arkansas, and Christofer Coleman-Pearson, 19, of Texarkana Texas with Burglary. Davis also caught a charge for Possession of Dangerous Drugs.

    Press Release:

The Texarkana Texas Police Department arrested two men for Burglary of a Vehicle early this morning after officers discovered one of them was carrying a stolen women’s wallet.

At approximately 1:50 this morning, Officer Shawn Jacobs observed Elexis Davis, 18, of Texarkana Arkansas, and Christofer Coleman-Pearson, 19, of Texarkana Texas walking in the roadway in the 2400 block of Stevenson Street.  Jacobs became suspicious as he spoke to the men because of inconsistencies in what they told him.  After the men agreed to allow Jacobs to search the clothing they were wearing, Jacobs found a large amount of loose change in both men’s pockets and a red women’s wallet with a Mickey Mouse design in the waistband of Davis’ pants.  Davis told Jacobs that a girl had given it to him but said he could not remember her name.  The wallet contained identification and credit cards belonging to a woman who lives in the 100 block of South Circle.  Officer Jarod Dean went to that address and found that someone had rummaged through the vehicle parked in the driveway.  The owner told Dean that items were missing from her vehicle, including the red Mickey Mouse wallet.

Both men were arrested without incident and transported to the Bi-State Jail.  Correctional officers subsequently located two small plastic bottles with several different types of pills concealed inside the groin area of Davis’ pants.

Davis is charged with Burglary of a Vehicle, Possession of Dangerous Drugs, and Walking in the Roadway.  Coleman-Pearson is charged with Burglary of a Vehicle and Walking in the Roadway.

After more than 40 years with commercial broadcasting, I decided to do my own thing by blogging, and taking "unconsultant" gigs. It affords me the ability to stay super involved in the community, but still, have plenty of time with my 3 granddaughters and other projects.
