15th Annual Runnin’ WJ Barrel Race June 8 thru June 12

The 2022 Runnin’ WJ Barrel Race will feature, literally thousands of the top barrel racers in the world over 5 days and nights at the Four States Fairground Entertainment Center. Beginning Wednesday, June 8 at 9:00 am. Admission is FREE!

This is by far the largest Ag event in Texarkana, and one of the largest barrel racing events in the world, with at least 3,000 barrel racers making their way to Texarkana for a chance at almost $75,000 in money and prizes. Hotels are booked up in Texarkana and surrounding towns for this.

If you have driven by the Fairgrounds lately? There are thousands of horses everywhere! One right after the other, these riders perform their best against the clock for prize money totaling almost $75,000. It is non-stop action for the next 5 days and admission for spectators is free. If you are a fan of Barrel Racing… this is a must-see event.

Friday $4000 Added Warm-Up
Open begins 8 am.
Youth, Adult, GG’s Incentive $500 Added each
June 11 &12- Office opens 7:30 am.
Saturday and Sunday will be one race with $5000 Added
$50K Future Fortunes Incentive
Youth, Adult, GG’s Incentive $500 Added each

Saturday June11th entries 1-600 will run and Sunday June 12th entries 601- till finished will run.

Must submit copy of registration papers and FF form for the Future Fortunes Inc. Future Fortunes will do the payout for their Incentive.

Race is BBR & Arkansas Elite approved for the Friday warm-up race and the Sat/Sun Open.
Online Entry only for the race and the Online link will be available starting in April 2022.
Entry fees for Open Friday and Sat/Sun $50 per rider/horse. Incentives are $25 per rider/horse.

Must have CURRENT COGGINS to get into the fairgrounds.
