It’s time for the 6th Annual Ark-La-Tex Comic Con 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday September 3 and Saturday September 4 at the Hilton Garden Inn located on South Cowhorn Creek Loop, in Texarkana, Texas.
There will be costume contests for both adults (13 years and up) and children (8 to 12 years of age) Saturday and Sunday. There will be art contests for adults and children on both days, a Magic the Gathering Tournament Saturday for the adults. A Yu-Gi-Oh Tournament will be held on Sunday and there will also be a Dungeons & Dragons 2nd Edition tourney and other tournaments including a Star Wars Tournament, Black Ops 2 Tournament and a Halo Reach Tournament this weekend.
There are some fantastic guests lined up for the convention including a couple of actors from T.V.’s “Walking Dead”…
Admission is $15.00 per day for adults or $25.00 both days. Children 12 years and younger get in for free. (Only two children per adult (18+ yrs), each additional child $5)
