2022 New Boston Pioneer Days Festival – Schedule of Events

The 51st Annual Texas Pioneer Days Festival is coming up the week of August, 17-20. Don’t miss the 2022 Pioneer Days Rodeo, Carnival, Car Show, and Live Music, Food, and fun all just keeps getting better every year, don’t miss out.

I guess, technically, the Festival really kicks off with the Pioneer Days Rodeo on August 12, and 13 at the arena on 992 (Daniels Chapel). at 7:30 pm each evening.

The Pioneer Days Treasure Hunt begins at 9:00 am on Monday, August 15. Clues will be posted at the New Boston Chamber of Commerce and on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

The Johnson Brothers Carnival begins on Wednesday, August 17…

  • WEDNESDAY – Amusement Rides – 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm (tickets only)
  • THURSDAY – Rides 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm (Armbands $25)
    Concessions, vendors, arts & crafts on the festival grounds.
    Gospel Concert – Jeff and Sherri Easter at FBC – 7:00 PM
    Headliner – Back in Black (AC/DC Tribute Band) Pavillion Stage – 8:30 pm
  • FRIDAY – Rides 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm (Armbands $25)
    Concessions, vendors, arts & crafts on the festival grounds.
    Concert – Janie Fricke, Dion Pride, Marty Haggard – Pavillion Stage – 8:30 pm
  • SATURDAY – Volunteer Fire Department Pancake Breakfast at 6:00 am to 9:00 am
    Parade in downtown New Boston at 10:00 am
    The Red River Credit Union Car Show on Ellis Street at 11:00 am
    Rides 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm (Armbands $25)
    Concessions, vendors, arts & crafts on the festival grounds 10:00 am to 11:00 pm
    Rides – Armbands ($25) from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, Tickets only from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm (3 to 4 tickets per ride).

  • The Gentlemen – 10:45 am to 11:45 am
  • Phillip Osbourn & The Living Proof Band – 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm
  • Lane Bricker – 1:15 pm to 2:15 pm
  • Marlon Sharp & The Cowboys at the Cross – 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm
  • Paul Holder & The Hot Snakes – 3:45 pm to 4:45 pm
  • Mo Pitney Band – 8:30 pm
