The 2025 Pioneer Days Festival is making a big change this year, moving from the August heat to the cooler fall dates of October 8–11. But while the weather may be easier on festivalgoers, the entertainment lineup is hotter than ever.

The celebration will take place at the New Boston Pavilion & Midway, with four days of carnival fun, food, and live music. Concerts hit the main stage at the T&P Trailhead Park each night at 7:00 p.m.

    🎶 Main Stage Concert Lineup:

    • Wednesday, Oct. 8 – Anthony Price & The Southern Front Band

    • Thursday, Oct. 9 – The Seger System: A Bob Seger Tribute Show

    • Friday, Oct. 10 – William Michael Morgan

    • Saturday, Oct. 11 – Asleep at the Wheel, with Marlon Sharp & Cowboys at the Cross opening.

Country fans will recognize William Michael Morgan, the Mississippi native whose debut single “I Met a Girl” soared to #2 on the Country Airplay chart in 2016.

Closing out the festival is the legendary Asleep at the Wheel. Formed in 1970, the Grammy-winning Western swing group has released more than 20 albums, charted 21 singles, and continues to keep Texas dance halls rocking.

This year’s Pioneer Days promises cool evenings, hot music, and family fun all rolled into one.

After more than 40 years with commercial broadcasting, I decided to do my own thing by blogging, and taking "unconsultant" gigs. It affords me the ability to stay super involved in the community, but still, have plenty of time with my 3 granddaughters and other projects.
