We had a great opportunity to visit with the organizers of the second annual “Universal Vibe Music, Wellness & Arts Festival” being held on E. Front Street downtown on Saturday, October, 23. This is a free event for the public and something for people of all ages.
We spoke with Colton Foltz about the second annual Universal Vibe Festival. In 2020, or “year of cancellations”, they put on their first festival at the Carlton Kemp Girl Scout Camp and were surprised that they had hundreds of people make their way out to the “country” for the event. Here in 2021, they’ve made the move to Front Street Plaza and E. Front Street itself.
The Universal Vibes Music, Arts & Wellness Festival begins at noon on Front Street Plaza with 50+ vendors, two stages with live music, arts and crafts for kids, yoga workshops, food trucks, and at 6:30 pm they are throwing a “Giant Bubble Party” for kids.
See the itinerary at UNIVERSALVIBE.ORG.
At 7:45 pm you will be completely amazed by Phantom Flow Fire Arts demonstrations.
From the Facebook Event Page:
Our mission is to create a safe environment where like-minded people can come together and heal, evolve, and thrive. Bringing together all of Texarkana’s unique individuals, healers, crafters, and artists we intend to educate and expand our culture into our communities through the arts, holistic health, and love. Come check out all the talented vendors, healing workshops, the different varieties of music and art, and come watch Phantom Flow Arts spin some fire arts! This is a free event to the public!
This is such a great opportunity to learn about differences of cultures and see that we all have a lot more in common than we differ. The “Vibe” is real, it will be a happy, fun-filled day, and it’s FREE!

(Thanks Colton, super-polite kid. Even when I said everything out of order he didn’t want to correct me. He has really put a lot into this, more than the money he has put a lot of heart into it, Walk thru this weekend down on Front Street.)
