The lights are getting ready to shine a little brighter in Texarkana as the 81st Annual Four States Fair returns April 3–12 with ten days of family fun, live entertainment, and a brand-new midway experience.
This year’s theme, “LIGHT UP, LET’S GO,” sets the tone for what organizers say will be one of the most exciting fairs in recent years. The 2026 event is proudly presented by Farmers Bank & Trust and Texarkana Emergency Center & Hospital.
A New Midway Takes Center Stage
One of the biggest changes this year is the introduction of North American Midway Entertainment (NAME) as the fair’s new midway operator.
As the largest traveling amusement company in North America, NAME brings a national reputation for spectacular rides, modern attractions, and a strong focus on safety and guest experience.
Fairgoers can expect:
-
New high-thrill rides
-
Family-friendly attractions
-
Classic kiddie rides
-
Colorful midway games
-
Traditional carnival favorites and food
Organizers say the new partnership promises a midway that will be “bigger, brighter, and more exciting than ever.”
Fan-Favorite Events Return
In addition to the upgraded midway, the fair will once again feature crowd-pleasing grandstand events.
The Texarkana Mack & Volvo Trucks Demo Derby returns Friday, April 4 at 5:00 p.m., with gates opening at 4:00 p.m. The high-impact event consistently fills the grandstands each year.
The Classic Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Gregg Orr Auto 4 States Rodeo, produced by Wing Rodeo Company, will also return, bringing top competitors and traditional Western excitement to the fairgrounds.
Presale Tickets Available
Presale tickets are now on sale, offering fairgoers early access and added value for rides and attractions. Information on ticket packages, schedules, and daily events is available at www.fourstatesfair.com.
A Longstanding Regional Tradition
For more than 80 years, the Four States Fair has served as a gathering place for families across Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma. With trusted sponsors, beloved traditions, and a new midway partner delivering next-level excitement, organizers say the 2026 fair is shaping up to be one of the best yet.
North American Midway Entertainment, founded in 2004, operates at fairs and festivals across the country and is recognized for its professionalism and safety-first approach.
The countdown is officially on as Texarkana prepares to light up and celebrate another year of fair traditions.
