A century of service, leadership, and community impact will be celebrated later this month as the Junior League of Texarkana marks its 100th anniversary with a special Centennial Celebration event.
The celebration is scheduled for Tuesday, May 19, at 5:30 p.m. and will be hosted at the Texarkana Regional Arts & Humanities Council (TRAHC), located at 321 West 4th Street in downtown Texarkana.
Community members, supporters, and former and current members of the Junior League are invited to attend the milestone event, which will honor the organization’s long-standing commitment to volunteerism and improving the quality of life across the Texarkana area.
The evening will feature special guest speakers, the signing of official proclamations by local government leaders, and an opportunity to reflect on the organization’s 100 years of community service and outreach.
Guests attending the celebration will also enjoy hors d’oeuvres and wine as the organization commemorates a century of impact and looks ahead to the future.
For generations, the Junior League of Texarkana has played an important role in supporting local projects, developing women leaders, and contributing to programs benefiting children and families throughout the region.
Organizers say the centennial event will be both a celebration of history and a tribute to the volunteers and community partners who have helped shape the organization over the past 100 years.
