The City of Texarkana, Texas Bowie County Family Health Clinic is inviting the community to attend its Annual Health and Wellness Fair on Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Southwest Center, located at 3222 West 7th Street.
This free, family-friendly event will bring together local and regional organizations, healthcare providers, and businesses dedicated to helping residents improve their physical, mental, and financial well-being.
Attendees will have access to a wide range of free health screenings, services, and educational resources, including blood sugar checks, cholesterol screenings, vision screenings, baseline mental health assessments, and blood donation opportunities.
Additional services and information will include fire safety education, child passenger safety, car seat inspections, victim services, hospice care resources, foster care volunteer recruitment, and information on independent and assisted living options.
Organizers say the event is designed to connect residents with valuable resources while promoting healthier lifestyles and greater community awareness.
In addition to health and wellness services, guests can enjoy food from local favorites Mama Nem and Dre’licious. Door prizes will also be awarded throughout the day, adding to the fun and festive atmosphere.
Businesses and organizations interested in participating as vendors are encouraged to register soon, as booth space is limited. Vendor registration must be completed by April 30. In lieu of booth fees, organizers are requesting donated door prizes.
