    Missing Person Report Filed for Teenager from Hempstead County

    UPDATE 5-4-2015 AT 11:00 A.M.:
    From the Hempstead County Sherrif – “Destiny Collins has been located, she is safe, and Hempstead County Deputies are enroute to pick her up. Thanks for everyone’s help in helping locate Destiny.”

    The Hempstead County Sheriff’s Department has taken to Facebook for information regarding a missing teenage girl from Hempstead County. Have you seen Destiny Collins?

    From HCSO:

    At approximately 1530 hours on Monday May 2, 2016 Deputy Derick Bunn was dispatched to the lobby of the Sheriff’s Office in reference to a missing person.

    Upon my arrival he made contact with Tina Bray and Cheyenne Collins. Tina stated that her daughter, Destiny Collins, had ran away from home. Tina stated that she left for work this morning at approximately 0630 hours and Cheyenne stated that she left this morning at approximately 0745 hours. Tina stated that Destiny said she was not going to school today because she did not feel good. Cheyenne stated that Destiny was at home when she left. Cheyenne stated that when she came home at approximately 1500 hours Destiny was not there and all of her property was gone.

    Destiny Collins is described as a white female, 5’1” tall, 135 pounds, Blonde hair, and Hazel eyes with a fair complexion. It is unknown as to the type clothing she was wearing.

    Anyone having any information as to the whereabouts of Destiny Dawn Collins please contact the Hempstead County Sheriff’s Office at 870-777-6727 or call your local Law Enforcement Agency.
