All Invited to Participate in Texarkana College 9-11 Memorial Activity


Saturday, September 11 is the 20th Anniversary of one of the most horrific days in American History. Texarkana College has a special activity that you are invited to participate in on their Campus. Take a flag and place it in the ground, here are more details.

This Saturday, September 11, 2021, marks the 20th anniversary of the September 11 attacks on the United States of America. Beginning today, Texarkana College will have a remembrance activity in honor of the 2,977 people who lost their lives. Students, staff, and faculty are invited to visit the World War II Memorial on the Texarkana College Campus and place an American flag in the grassy area surrounding the memorial. The flags are in baskets next to the memorial along with a sign displayed in remembrance of 9/11. We will never forget the men and women who lost their lives on this tragic day.
