Annual Texas High Tiger’s ‘Dash for Cash’ Happens November 5


Time to “Dash for Cash” with the Texas High Tigers annual event to benefit the Texas High “Volunteers in Public Schools, V.I.P.S. Program”. All will take place at the Texas High Track on Saturday, November 5.

The Texas High School Volunteers in Public Schools (VIPS) will host their 3rd Annual Dash for Cash 5K on Saturday, November 5 from 9:00 a.m. until Noon.

Featured events include a competitive 5K Run/Walk and a Family Fun Run/Walk.  Following the race, there will be a Tiger Celebration for participants and families featuring vendor booths, bounce houses, dunking booths, face painting, food, and fun!

The start/finish of the race will be at the Texas High School track/baseball field.  5K participants will enjoy the course which winds through the Spring Lake Park area and then brings them back for a fun post-event finish.

All proceeds from the race will benefit the THS VIPS Scholarship Fund to fund general scholarships and dual credit scholarships to deserving graduating seniors.
