Arkansas State Trooper Clayton McWilliams is being treated at Christus St. Michael Hospital for injuries he received after his vehicle hydro-planed on Highway 71 at the Wilton Arkansas City Limits, his unit left the roadway and struck a tree.
Trooper McWilliams, assigned to Troop G, was responding to another accident today on Highway 71 that involved a log truck that had rolled over. McWilliams had to be extricated from his vehicle by Little River County First Responders.
The accident is under investigation.
