Police Investigating Burglary at Texarkana Best Buy Store

The Texarkana Texas Police Department is investigating an overnight break-in at the Texarkana Best Buy Store in the Texarkana Pavilion Shopping Center on St. Michael Drive.

T.T.P.D. responded to an alarm at the Texarkana Best Buy store at 4:35 a.m. on Thursday morning. Officers discovered that a break-in had occured. We reached out to TTPD Public Information Officer Shawn Vaughn for more information,

We answered an alarm call at Best Buy at 4:35am Thursday morning.  Officers arrived two minutes later and discovered a U-Haul trailer at the back overhead door.  It appears that the abandoned trailer had been used to ram the door and gain access to the building.  Officers cleared the building but no one was inside.  While we know that unknown subjects made entry into the building, we do know not what – if anything – was taken.  The case is still under investigation.

If you have any information on this case or any other call Crimestoppers at 903.793.7867 (903-793-STOP), or the Texarkana Texas Police Department at 903.798.3116.

After more than 40 years with commercial broadcasting, I decided to do my own thing by blogging, and taking "unconsultant" gigs. It affords me the ability to stay super involved in the community, but still, have plenty of time with my 3 granddaughters and other projects.
