Texarkana Arkansas Police are investigating the discovery of a deceased elderly woman found Monday evening in a wooded area near a local hotel.
Officers responded to a 911 call at approximately 6:16 p.m. on May 12, 2025, and located the body of an elderly white female near the Boutique Hotel at 5100 N. State Line Avenue.
Authorities say there were no immediate signs of foul play or evidence of criminal activity at the scene. However, due to the unattended nature of the death, the woman’s body has been sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for an autopsy.
