The vacant former Howard Johnson Hotel on North Stateline Avenue is currently on fire, with local firefighters fighting a serious blaze. Stateline avenue is currently closed just north of I-30.
All are being asked to avoid the area as firefighters work scene. Stateline Avenue is currently closed for additional fire hoses to attack the fire stretching across the roadway.
