Four States Fair & Rodeo Kicks-off September 9 in Texarkana

Time for the 72nd Annual Four States Fair and Rodeo running from September 9 to September 18, 2016 in Texarkana with all the food, fun and excitement that you expect from the biggest and best Fair and Rodeo in the area. Here are some details.

Kicking off on Friday September 9th the Four States Fair & Rodeo promises to be full of family fun and excitement! Livestock judging begins at 9 a.m. on Friday the 9th and at 9 a.m. again on Saturday the 10th.

Saturday September 10th it’s the 26th Annual Demolition Derby, by far one of the biggest attractions for the region with crashing, bashing and extreme destruction. Taking place inside the Entertainment Center, the doors open at 6:00 p.m.

Wednesday night inside the Four States Entertainment Center, it’s the PRCA Xtreme Bullriding Series, with some of the best bull riding to hit the Ark-La-Tex.

The Ram PRCA Rodeo kicks off inside the Entertainment Center on Thursday and runs through Saturday night September 17.

Admission for the Fair is $7 for adults, $5 for kids 6 to 12, and all children under the age of 5 enter for free.

A weekly fun pass will run you $65.

A McDonald’s Weekend Pass, which includes daily unlimited ride armbands for the first weekend are $30 and good for Friday, September 9 through Sunday, September 11.

rodeododgeDemolition Derby on Saturday September 10 is $15 with kids 12 and under only $10.

 

Rodeo general admission is $15 for adults and $10 for children. Reserved box seats are $20. Thursday night is free kids night with children under 12 entering for free with a paying adult.

Free Senior Day is from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday September 11.

Don’t forget that event passes to the Entertainment Center also gain you entry to the fairgrounds.

Another special event, especially for those of us that love the fair for the food, on Tuesday September 13 is “Taste of the Fair Tuesday” where vendors will have a sample size of their specialty foods for only $2.
