Texarkana is getting ready to kick for a cause as Friends for a Cause Foundation hosts its 9th Annual Kickball Tournament on Saturday, September 26, 2026.
The annual community fundraiser will take place at Grady T. Wallace Park, 3315 Leopard Drive in Texarkana, Texas, with the tournament getting underway at 8:00 a.m.
The event brings teams together for a day of friendly competition while raising money for charitable causes. The winning team will have the opportunity to direct a charitable payout of up to $10,000 to the nonprofit organization of its choice.
The organization says the tournament is built around its message: “Any Friend. Any Cause. It All Matters.”
In addition to the kickball tournament, attendees can expect a full day of family-friendly activities, including food trucks, vendors and opportunities for community members to get involved through sponsorships.
Teams interested in participating can register for $150 per team. According to the event information, the registration deadline was July 1.
Those interested in the tournament or sponsorship opportunities can contact Suki O’Neal at 903-278-8867 or email FFACFoundation2014@gmail.com.
Friends for a Cause has made the annual tournament a tradition focused on bringing people together while supporting organizations doing meaningful work throughout the community.
