Local veterans are invited to enjoy a day of honor, fellowship, and celebration at the 3rd Annual Veterans Appreciation Picnic, hosted by Hospice of Texarkana on Friday, May 16, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This special event, held at 2407 Galleria Oaks Drive, is free and open to all veterans in the community. Organizers say the day is dedicated to thanking those who have served with free food, beverages, entertainment, and camaraderie in a relaxed outdoor setting. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair and enjoy the festivities.
Adding to this year’s celebration is special musical guest Hailey Wright, a standout performer from Season 27 of NBC’s The Voice. Her appearance is expected to be a highlight of the afternoon.
“We are honored to give back to those who’ve given so much,” said a representative from Hospice of Texarkana. “This event is about showing appreciation, creating connections, and reminding veterans that they are deeply valued by this community.”
