TAMU-T will host the first “Border Cup soccer Tournament this Friday and Saturday August 26 and 27 at Eagle Field on the A&M-Texarkana campus.
Texas A&M University-Texarkana will host its first Border Cup soccer tournament Friday and Saturday, Aug. 26-27, at Eagle Field on the A&M-Texarkana campus, 7101 University Ave., Texarkana, Texas.
The women’s tournament will get underway Friday at 3 p.m. with the Bacone College Warriors of Muskogee, Oklahoma, facing off against the Central Baptist College Mustangs of Conway, Arkansas.
Also on Friday, the A&M-Texarkana Eagles will make their Red River Athletic Conference home debut against the Our Lady of the Lake University Saints of San Antonio, Texas. The women’s match will begin at 5 p.m. A&M-Texarkana’s new men’s soccer team will kick off its first game of the regular season at 7 p.m.
On Saturday, the women of Our Lady of the Lake will take on Bacone College at 3 p.m. The A&M-Texarkana Eagles will play the Paul Quinn College Tigers of Dallas, Texas, with the women’s match at 5 p.m. and the men’s game at 7 p.m.
