The University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana Trapshooting team continues to sign top talent for the UofA Iron Horse Shooting Team with the signing of Nicholas Lerew.

    UofA Media Release:

Nicholas Lerew of Hope, Arkansas, accepted a scholarship today to shoot with the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana Iron Horse Shooting Team. The scholarship, funded by Smiles of Arkansas Dental Center, is good for up to $650 for the academic year. Nicholas is the son of Troy Jr. and Terry Brown Lerew. He plans to major in General Education at UAHT and transfer to Trinidad State University in Trinidad, Colorado, to pursue a degree in Gunsmithing.

The University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana Iron Horse Shooting Team provides only seven scholarships to shooters for the academic year. The scholarships are awarded to the top seven shooters based on letters of recommendation. The shooting team competes at the College’s “Pulling for Education Trap Shoot,” the State Championship Shoot in Tiller, Arkansas, and the National Championship Shoot in San Antonio, Texas.

After more than 40 years with commercial broadcasting, I decided to do my own thing by blogging, and taking "unconsultant" gigs. It affords me the ability to stay super involved in the community, but still, have plenty of time with my 3 granddaughters and other projects.
