    Lifenet Ambulance Involved in Collision with Another Vehicle

    One person was injured this afternoon in an accident involving a Lifenet Ambulance that was responding to an assistance call at the time and was occupied by two crew members. The driver of the second vehicle was transported to a local hospital and the accident is under investigation.

    Lifenet Media Release:

    Earlier this afternoon, around 3:54 pm, a LifeNet ambulance was involved in a collision with another vehicle on FM 1840 & COUNTY ROAD 4004 in New Boston, TX.

    At the time of the collision, the ambulance was responding to a call for assistance and was occupied by two LifeNet employees. The employees were not injured. There were no patients on board.

    Immediately after the collision, additional ambulances along with the Fire Department and law enforcement, responded to the scene.

    LifeNet transported one person from the scene to Christus St Michael Hospital.

    The accident is currently under investigation.
