SATURDAY, JUNE 29: Reno Parks & Trail Committee Summer Celebration and BBQ Cook-Off, all day, at the Reno Park. Bounce houses, water slides, games, vendors, and live band will play, along with a cornhole tournament, watermelon seed-spitting contest, and many other fun activities. Reno Fireworks will have the fireworks show, at dusk.
SATURDAY, JUNE 29: “Happy Birthday, USA!” Hosted by the Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce, Saturday, 10am—4pm, at Caldwell Park. This daytime event features live music, a pet parade, kids’ parade, hot dog and watermelon eating contests, kids’ activities, food vendors, and more! Hayden McClure Band will play. WEDNESDAY, JULY 3: “Freedom Fest”, 7—9pm at the Love Civic Center in Paris. FREE! A concert with Twisted Whisky, food trucks, and more. Fireworks will light up the sky at 9pm. And the 2019 Fireworks Bucket Brigade returns this year, as the Paris Municipal Band plays at Noyse Stadium, at Paris Jr. College, from 7:30—9:30pm. All are invited to attend!
WEDNESDAY, JULY 3: 40th Anniversary Customer Appreciation Celebration, at American National Bank’s south parking lot, 11a—2p, in Mt. Pleasant. Featuring: Live music with Katie Rae and Hayden McBride, food, drinks, games, Hipp-Hopp Slide for the kids, and more! FREE!
THURSDAY, JULY 4: ‘Freedom Fest’, hosted by the New Boston Chamber of Commerce, 6pm at T & P Trailhead Park, downtown New Boston. Live music from One Night Stand, at 6…the Boy Scouts will sell burger dinners…cool off with Kona Ice, Dilly Bars from DQ, sold by the Chamber, inflatable water slides…face painting, dunking booth, rock climbing wall, and more! Fireworks at 9pm.
THURSDAY, JULY 4: Ashdown’s 4th of July Fireworks Show begins at 4:30pm at the new location of Ashdown Junior High. This is a fun, family event, with hot dogs, popsicles, water, bounce houses, all FREE! Relentless will play from 5—9pm, with the fireworks show ending the evening at 9pm. Brought to you by the City of Ashdown, Little River County Chamber of Commerce, and Ashdown Matters.
THURSDAY, JULY 4: 4th of July Celebration, 6pm, at Hardy Memorial United Methodist Church, North Kings Highway, Texarkana, TX. Featuring music, food, bounce houses, water slides, SNS video gaming table, games, and more, celebrating Independence Day. Fireworks at dark! FREE for all!
THURSDAY, JULY 4: “Light Up the Village” 4th of July Celebration, 6—9pm at King Park in Wake Village. Food and entertainment begin at 6pm, with Fireworks at 9pm. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and family for an evening of FUN. FREE! Sponsored by the City of Wake Village EDC.
SATURDAY, JULY 6: “Stand Up for America” Celebration, Nashville City Park, Nashville, AR, on west Johnson Street. Gates open at 5pm, with a celebration…at Patriotic Show at 6:30pm, Kids’ fun and games from 5—6:30pm, Pinewood Derby races, Cornhole toss, dunking booth, bounce houses, homemade ice cream, Zac Dunlap Band at 7:30, and fireworks at 9P:30pm. Ages 13 and up: $10. All veterans, $5.00…children aged 12 and under, FREE. From the Nashville Chamber of Commerce and several area industries/businesses/community groups.
