Last Thursday, law enforcement officials executed a search warrant at a residence on Skyline Blvd., resulting in the arrest of 44-year-old Timothy Brooks and the seizure of a significant quantity of illegal drugs.
The operation, conducted jointly by the Special Investigations Unit and the Miller County Sheriff’s Office, uncovered a substantial cache of narcotics. Authorities seized approximately 25 pounds of methamphetamine, over 13,000 Ecstasy pills, several pounds of marijuana, and a stolen pistol from the premises.
Brooks, who was present at the scene, was promptly arrested on the spot. His arrest was made in connection with felony warrants for Driving While Intoxicated (3rd or more) and a parole violation. Currently, he is being held in the Bi-State Jail awaiting further legal proceedings.
Authorities have indicated that additional charges related to the drug bust will be filed against Brooks in the forthcoming days. Investigators plan to collaborate closely with prosecutors to ensure that all appropriate charges are brought against the suspect.
The successful outcome of this operation would not have been possible without the collaboration and assistance of multiple law enforcement agencies. The Texarkana Police Department extends its gratitude to the Sheriff’s Offices in Little River and Lafayette counties for their invaluable support throughout the investigation.
As the case unfolds, authorities remain committed to combating the scourge of illegal drugs in the community and upholding public safety. Further updates regarding the case will be provided as they become available.
