The Amazing Race Texarkana is a Scavenger Hunt that takes participants around Texarkana.

The historical and beautiful architecture of Downtown Texarkana makes for the perfect location for an Amazing Race that explores the cultural heart of Texarkana; completing a number of quantifiable team challenges en route – all on foot.
Each team is composed of two people with a pre-existing relationship (dating, married, divorced, siblings, parent and child, lifelong friends, sports team colleagues, and/or co-workers).
Each team will be given an overview of what the challenges will involve in order to be prepared for the day’s activities. At the start of the race, each team will receive an envelope with a map and clue. Upon retrieving the clue, the team leader will open the envelope and read aloud the instructions given on the clue sheet and then proceed accordingly.
There will be 12 Route Markers, which are uniquely colored flags that mark the places where teams must go. Most Route Markers are attached to boxes that contain clue envelopes, however some may mark the place where the teams must go in order to complete tasks, or may be used to line a course that the teams must follow.
Once the teams have completed all of the tasks on this adventure, they’ll return to the Front Street Food Fest route marker. The team that arrives first will be awarded.
