The Texarkana Texas Police Department reports that they are currently investigating a shooting at a local cosmetology school that has left one woman hospitalized and her attacker dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
TTPD Media Release:
We are on the scene of a shooting that happened outside the Cosmetology Academy of Texarkana on Kings Highway earlier this afternoon. A man confronted his estranged wife there and shot her in the leg, before returning to his car and committing suicide in the parking lot.
The woman was transported to Christus St. Michael Hospital with what is believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
