A small but impressive fleet of World War II era military planes will be flying in formation over Texarkana on Saturday, May 9, 2020. The squadron consists of a 1944 Goodyear Corsair, and 3 North American P-51 Mustangs.
The squadron will be led by Steuart Walton in an effort to lift spirits and recognize frontline healthcare workers, first responders, and to honor all that have been affected by COVID-19.

A media release asked that first responders gather near local healthcare providers and activate their emergency lights to show the pilots of these vintage warplanes know they are there.
Steuart Walton is only the second person I’ve ever known of named Steuart and is serving as Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson’s Economic Recovery Task Force chairman. He’s also Sam Walton’s grandson and an accomplished pilot.
