COVID 19 numbers continue to rise around the Texarkana area. Over the weekend, Miller County numbers really jumped putting the total positive cases of COVID 19 in the southwast corner of the state at 220.
Miller County Judge Cathy Harrison released numbers yesterday evening stating the county now has a total of 220 positive cases, from that there have been 102 recoveries and 2 deaths. That puts the active case count at 116. On Friday, July 3 the Miller County county count was 122 positive cases, from that 98 recoveries and 2 deaths
All are encouraged to practice social distancing and avoiding large groups of people. Wash your hands often, and wear a mask that covers your mouth and nose when you do have to be in public spaces.
