Miller County Fair 2016 Schedule of Events


Time to “Saddle Up” for the Miller County Fair at the Miller County Fairgrounds in Fouke Arkansas. 2016 is year number 101 for the Miller County Fair, and we have the schedule of events here for your convenience.

All of the festivities kick off on Monday August 1st. This year enjoy the foods, sights and sounds of the Miller County fair at the Miller County Fairgrounds in Fouke, across from the school. Enjoy the pageants, the live music, entertainment and more. Saturday brings the big games like the Greased Pig contest, Outhouse Run, Rootbeer Drinking contest, and the Egg Toss contest.


This year the carnival will be presented by Mitchell Bros. & Sons out of Slidell Louisiana with more than 50 years experience providing family fun and entertainment. They are bringing more than 40 rides ranging from kiddie rides to family rides to the spectacular rides for the daredevils. Mitchell Bros. & Sons also have the mid-way games and concessions for kids and families.




Monday August 1st:
5pm – Home Arts Check-in
6:30pm – Fair Parade
Immediately following parade –
Little Mr. & Ms. Western Pageant
10pm – Gates Close

Tuesday August 2nd:
8am – Baked Goods Check-in
5pm – Gates Open
5:30pm – Talent Show (Outdoor stage)
7pm – Baby Mr. & Miss Miller County Pageant
7pm – Rich Walker (Outdoor stage)
10pm – Gates Close

Wednesday August 3rd:
5pm – Carnival Opens
5:30pm – Pet Show
7pm – Gospel Night presented by Cross Creek Cowboy Church
10pm – Gates close

Thursday August 4th:
11am – Free Senior Luncheon
1pm – Senior Citizen Bingo
5pm – Carnival Opens
7pm – Mini, Little, Junior, & Young Miss Miller County
7pm – Donathon Blake & the Outlaws (Outdoor stage)

Friday August 5th:
5pm – Carnival Opens
7pm – Miller County Princess & Queen Pagaent
7:30pm – Live Auction (Outdoor stage)
10pm – Gates close

Saturday August 6th:
8am – Livestock Show
10am – Family Fun Day
1pm – Carnival Opens
4pm – Kid’s Rodeo
7pm – Team Roping
7pm – Fred Searcy
10pm – Fireworks Show
Family fun day armbands are $3.00 for entry to the fair all day and night.
