In a collaborative effort involving law enforcement agencies from across the Texarkana region, a recent undercover operation targeting sexual predators and solicitors has resulted in multiple arrests.
Led by our department in conjunction with the Bowie County Sheriff’s Office, Texas Department of Public Safety, Texarkana Arkansas Police Department, Miller County Sheriff’s Office, and the FBI, the operation aimed to apprehend individuals attempting to solicit sex with minors online.
During the course of the multi-day operation, three men were arrested for Online Solicitation of a Minor after engaging in communication with undercover officers posing as underage girls. The suspects, identified as Dylan Dickens (32), Jesus Rosa Rosales (37), and Keith Godfrey (54), were apprehended upon arriving at the designated meeting locations provided by the undercover officers.
Additionally, the sting resulted in the arrest of two other individuals on charges unrelated to underage solicitation. Henry Oller (67) and Lance Bradshaw (42) were both taken into custody for Solicitation of Prostitution.
All five suspects were booked into the Bi-State Jail, with bond set at $100,000 each for Dickens and Godfrey. Dickens was released from custody on Friday after posting bond, while bond arrangements for the remaining arrests are pending.
The success of this operation underscores the commitment of law enforcement agencies to combatting online exploitation and ensuring the safety of minors in the Texarkana community. Such collaborative efforts serve as a powerful deterrent to those who seek to engage in predatory behavior or illegal activities.
