It’s rodeo time in New Boston, and the whole community is invited to join the action! The New Boston Round Up Club is proud to host the Southeast Oklahoma Junior Rodeo Association (SOJRA) Rodeo on Friday and Saturday, July 18–19, 2025 at the New Boston Round Up Club Arena, located at 1154 Daniels Chapel Road.
This family-friendly event promises two evenings of exciting rodeo competition, starting at 8 p.m. each night, with events open to young cowboys and cowgirls from across the region.

Entries will be accepted by text on July 14–15. To sign up for events, text 580-372-0920 with your entry information. Entry fees begin at $40 per event, with Sheep Riding and Goat Ribbons set at $25 each. A $10 non-member office fee per child applies.
Organizers say the SOJRA Rodeo is a great chance for young rodeo athletes to showcase their skills, have fun, and keep local rodeo traditions alive.
“We’re looking forward to another great weekend of rodeo right here in New Boston,” said a representative from the New Boston Round Up Club. “It’s about having fun, learning the sport, and building memories that’ll last a lifetime.”
Spectators are welcome, and concessions will be available both nights. Bring the family, grab your boots and hats, and head out for a classic Texas summer tradition.
