The Texarkana Texas Police Department is investigating a shooting in the 1600 block of W. 16th Street. Police report there was a small get together at the home when 3 men with covered faces demanding money. One man was shot multiple times.
Per Shawn Vaughn, TTPD Public Information officer:
There was a small get together at a house in the 1600 block of W. 16th. A call was received at 3:29 am. Three unknown black male suspects entered the home armed with pistols and demanded money. One of them shot the male victim (late 30s) multiple times. Suspects fled. Victim was transported to hospital in surgery, unknown condition.
All but one witness fled the scene before officers arrived. We need them to contact us to tell what happened.
